The Sussex Mineral & Fossil Show, the longest-running event of its kind in Sussex, marked another triumphant year on Saturday, 16th November 2024, in Haywards Heath. This year’s show not only broke attendance records but also cemented its reputation as a must-visit event for mineral, fossil, and crystal enthusiasts. Visitors queued to enter well into the afternoon, with lines still forming at 1:30 pm—a testament to its growing popularity.
A Legacy of Excellence - Organized by the Sussex Mineral & Lapidary Society, the show has been a cornerstone of the region’s mineralogical community since the society’s founding in 1972. This year, the event featured over 40 exhibitors, with participants traveling from across the UK and Europe. Such is the show’s reputation that exhibitor slots are in high demand, with a long waiting list for future participation.
